Decision Support System for Flood Forecasting and Water Management in the Eastern Area

In 2015, HII and DHI Denmark expanded the collaboration of Decision Support System for Flood Forecasting and Water Management in the Eastern area by developing the real-time monitoring system and model which integrate precipitation forecasting and flood model in order to predict the amount and level of water from the influence of rainfall. This system can also applied satellite rainfall data for increasing the capability of forecasting in area with limited survey opportunity by using the decision support system responsible for managing data and its visualization. The display will show 7-day forecasting of water volume and water level compared with various levels of weather warning criteria. These data can be used for decision support in water management. This system is completed in 2016.
