2021: The Development of Flood Forecasting and Early Warning System in urban area

Flood forecast and early warning system in urban areas was a development system to support flood monitoring and warning in significant economic urban areas that integrated data with modeling division of HII. The data has supported a display module system for water management in large and small areas. This aimed to analyze and verify the accuracy of various warnings when comparing with the report from online social media platform as Twitter from JS100 Radio, including adjust flood warning criteria as Interactive Pattern. The outcome was facilitating the users able to improve analysis and warning systems correctly and precisely.
Additionally, the data has been serviced to various groups such as modelers, general people, etc. Currently, HII provides water management and flood forecast systems to Bangkok and Pattaya, Chonburi Province. This information facilitates timely flood warning and integrates data into decision support system or DSS for continuously systematical water management by HII.
