HII Collaborates with RMUTSV and SURA for Curriculum Development to Enhance Local Water Management Capacity Through MHESRI Frontline Mechanism

On June 20-21 and 27, 2024, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESRI) through the Hydro-Informatics Institute (HII), in collaboration with Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV) and Suratthani Rajabhat University (SURA), organized a training workshop titled “Curriculum Development for Local Water Management through MHESRI Frontline Mechanism.” The workshop covered topics such as water management information, the use of the ThaiWater website and application, and the application of science and technology in community water management, including water resource planning.
The event aimed to advance curriculum development and personnel training by integrating knowledge in science, technology, and innovation. It received positive participation from over 200 target groups, including faculty members, students, community leaders, water user organizations, and the general public. HII extends its gratitude to RMUTSV, SURA, and the network of water management stakeholders, as well as the community, for their cooperation in developing the curriculum to reduce inequalities in the area.
