HII Welcomes Professors and Graduate Students from Kasetsart University for a Technology Knowledge Exchange

On March 4, 2024, Ms. Pakarat Danusatianpong, Strategic Policy and Management Executive, and Ms. Jittiporn Chantarojsiri, Director of the Special Project, Collaboration and Corporate Communications Division, welcomed professors and graduate students from the Master of Engineering and Technology Management program, Kasetsart University, Chalermphrakiat Sakon Nakhon Campus, to visit HII. The delegation explored the exhibition “From the Sky, Through the Mountains, to the Great Ocean” and the Automated Telemetry Station, as well as the High-Performance Computing (HPC) system of HII.

The visit continued with presentations on the National Hydroinformatics Data Center for monitoring the country’s water situation, GIS technology for data surveying and mapping, community water management, and successful community management practices. The sessions were attended by Dr. Royboon Rassamethes, Director of the Hydro-Informatics Institute (HII), and Dr. Sorntep Vannarat, Policy, Research and Development Executive. The participants engaged in discussions with faculty members and students, who found the knowledge gained from HII beneficial for their studies and future work.
