HII Welcomes Pakistani Government, World Bank, and FAO for Technology and Knowledge Exchange

On February 28, 2024, Dr. Royboon Rassamethes, Director of the Hydro-Informatics Institute (HII), along with the HII management team, hosted representatives from the Government of Sindh, Sindh Province, Pakistan, the World Bank, and the Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for a visit. The purpose of the visit was to facilitate knowledge exchange and explore innovations in water resource management technologies in Thailand.

The HII team guided the delegation through a tour of the Automated Telemetry Station and the High-Performance Computing (HPC) center, followed by presentations on the “Weather Forecast & Climate Prediction System” and the “NHC’s Operations and Management.”
