HII Partners with ONWR and TISTR to Sign MoU for Agricultural Production and Community Water Productivity Development Towards Standard Certification

On March 29, 2024, the Hydro-Informatics Institute (HII) held a signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on “Agricultural Production and Community Water Productivity Development Towards Standard Certification” in collaboration with the Office of National Water Resources (ONWR) and the Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR). The signing was attended by Dr. Royboon Rassamethes, Director of HII, Dr. Chutima Eamchotchawalit, Governor of TISTR, and Dr. Surasi Kittimonthon, Secretary General of ONWR.
This collaboration aims to integrate science, technology, and innovation (STI) to support water resource management, ensuring farmers have sufficient water for agriculture in accordance with the new theory and agroforestry. It also involves organizing farmers to plan year-round production, as well as developing and processing agricultural products to achieve international standard certification, enhancing sustainable competitiveness both domestically and internationally.
