HII collaborates with Sugar Cristalla Co., Ltd to conduct on-site exploration and analysis for agricultural water resource development guidelines.

On November 7, 2023, Dr. Royboon Rassameethes, Director of the Hydro – Informatics Institute (HII), led a team in collaboration with Sugar Cristalla Co., Ltd to conduct data collection and analysis. The aim was to develop guidelines for improving water storage and management efficiency in agricultural areas.

The project will be piloted in the target area of Thip Sugar Sukhothai Factory in Si Satchanalai District and Si Samrong District, Sukhothai Province. Training will also be provided to factory staff to create water mapping for 5 sub-districts in Si Satchanalai District, covering a total area of 72 sq.km. This effort aims to gather data to support decision-making and future regional water management planning.
