Welcoming the House of Representatives Water Resource Management Commission to Observe HII’s Operations

On September 9, 2024, Mr. Jakkarat Phuachuea, Chairman of the House of Representatives Water Resource Management Commission, along with the members, visited the Hydro-Informatics Institute (HII). Dr. Royboon Rassamethes, Director of HII, along with the executive team and staff, warmly welcomed the delegation and led a tour showcasing the Mobile War Room, the “From the Sky, Through the Mountain, to the Great Ocean” exhibition, HII’s Automated Telemetry Station, and the High-Performance Computing (HPC).
The commission received a detailed briefing on technology supporting water management, the National Hydroinformatics Data Center: NHC, and its applications for water management during both normal and crisis situations. They also discussed community water resource management and successful community models, as well as explored ways to utilize data and technology to enhance the efficiency of the nation’s water management in both normal and crisis scenarios.
