Welcoming the Mississippi River Commission and the Mekong River Commission: Sharing Knowledge on Technology

On January 22, 2024, Ms. Pakarat Danusatianpong, Policy and Strategic Management Executive, and Dr. Sornthep Vannarat, Policy Research and Development Executive, along with the team, welcomed the Mississippi River Commission (MiRC) and the Mekong River Commission (MRC) to visit HII’s operations. The visit included knowledge exchange on technology and innovation in water resource management in Thailand.

The HII team guided the visitors through the Telemetry Station for automatic weather and water level monitoring, as well as the High-Performance Computing (HPC) center, followed by presentations on “A Success Case on Flood Management in the Chao Phraya River Basin” and “Hydroinformatics for Disaster Preparedness and Readiness in Sakon Nakhon Province.”
