Welcoming DCCE for MoU Discussions on Data Establishment and Future Research Development

On January 16, 2024, Dr. Royboon Rassamethes, Director of the Hydro-Informatics Institute (HII), along with Dr. Sornthep Vannarat, Acting Director of the Hydro-Informatics Innovation Division, and Mr. Watanasak Supaking, Director of the Technology & Hydro-Informatics Promotion Division, welcomed the executives and staff of the Department of Climate Change and Environment (DCCE), led by Dr. Ruchaya Boonyatumannon, Environmental Technology Research and Development Specialist.
The visit included a tour of the “From the Sky, Through the Mountains, to the Great Ocean” exhibition, an automated telemetry station, and the High-Performance Computing (HPC). A presentation on the “National Water Data Warehouse and Water Resources and Climate Information Technology” was also given, followed by discussions on future collaboration through membership in the National Hydroinformatics Data Center : NHC and the development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focusing on data establishment, data linkage, climate change research, and capacity building in the future.
