HII presented the research findings at the 9th Research and Creative Innovation Conference

On July 25-26, 2023, Hydro-Informatics Institute (HII) participated in the 9th Research and Creative Innovation Conference held at the D2 Hotel International Convention Center in Chiang Mai. The event was organized by Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna and honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Passit Lohthiraphong, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, who delivered the opening speech.
During the conference, there were special presentations on the following topics:
“Research and Innovation Trends for the Development of Industries in Thailand” by Mrs. Patama Krisanarak, Chairperson of the Northern Upper Region Industrial Council.
“Sustainable Economic and Social Development through Research and Innovation” by Dr. Kobkit Issara Chiewvit, Deputy Chairman of the Chiang Mai Chamber of Commerce.
Furthermore, representatives from HII presented their research including:
- Mr. Chawin Kanyawararak, Research Assistant, presented “Easy Water Survey Boat for Provincial-Level Water Data Centers” in the Research for Social Service and Community Innovation session.
- Mr. Surachai Chantee, Research Assistant, presented “Filtering Disturbance Data in 3D Country-Level MMS using ELM-SOR Technique” in the Engineering, Energy, and Technology session.
The audience showed a great deal of interest in HII’s research work and commented that the technology is highly suitable for water exploration and management in the country, especially at the community level. They regarded this research as valuable and beneficial for future applications.
