HII organized a training to develop lecturer skills and geospatial technology application for community water management

During 20-24 December 2021, Hydro-Informatics Institute (Public Organization) or HII organized a workshop training to train the Trainers under the topic “Applying geo-informatics technology for community water resource management”, Round 1, in the Northern and Northeastern areas. The training occured at the Grand Pacific Sovereign Resort and Spa, Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province. During the event, participants also went to the area to practice and exchange knowledge about community water resource management at ‘Petch Nam Nueng Community’, Khao Krog Subdistrict, Tha Yang District, Phetchaburi Province.
Leading by Mr. Narongsak Pimpunchat, Head of Community Water Resource Management Division, who gave opening remarks and lectures on the topic of “The application of Geo-Informatics Technology for Community Water Resource Management”.
In the end of the ceremony, Dr. Royboon Rassameethes, Deputy Director of HII, gave the closing remarks and awarded certificates. There were a total of 57 participants from representatives of 18 community networks, 4 watershed communities, and 7 provincial farmers council networks.
