HII organized a training to develop application skills of the geospatial technology for community water management (Part 2)

During 24-28 January 2022, Hydro-Informatics Institute (Public Organization) or HII organized a training course for developing skills of trainer (Train the Trainers) “Applying geo-informatics technology for community water resource management” (Round 2 at the Central, Eastern, and Southern areas) at Grand Pacific Sovereign Resort and Spa, Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province. After that, team went to a filed trip for practical training and exchang knowledge on community water resource management at Petch Nam Nueng community, Khao Krog Subdistrict, Tha Yang District, Phetchaburi Province.
Led by Dr. Royboon Rasmeethes, Deputy Director of HII, gave an opening speech, together with Mr. Narongsak Pimpunchat, Director of Community Water Resource Management Division who gave a lecture under the topic “The application of geo-informatics technology for community water resource management” and presented a certificate to participants.
For this event, there were a total of 62 people participants who represented from 16 network communities, 1 from Basin Coordinator, the Kachanurak network in 5 provinces, and the network of the Farmers Council in 3 provinces.
