TRUE and HII signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the Installation of Cellular Signal Tower and Automated Telemetry Station

On 29 October 2020 – Dr. Royol Chitradon, Chairman of the Board of Directors, HII, chaired the MoU signing ceremony on the Installation of Cellular Signal Tower and Automated Telemetry Station, between Hydro-Informatics Institute (Public Organization) and True Corporation Public Company Limited.
The objective of this MoU is to support Friends in Need (of “PA”) Volunteers Foundation, Thai Red Cross and other 6 organization including Office of The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission, Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, Royal Forest Department, Department of Provincial Administration, Department of Local Administration, and Provincial Electricity Authority to set the installation area of the Automated Telemetry Station and Cellular Signal Tower to cover watershed area in order to measure rainfall and water level.
The benefit from this collaboration is to enhance the participation from communities in watershed areas on the use of Automated Telemetry Station in order to receive disaster warning information. As well as to encourage people to conserve natural resources and the environment in the watershed forest areas.
