Friends in Need(of “PA”) Volunteers Foundation has signed MoU with Hydro-Informatics Institute (Public Organization) and 6 partnered organizations for Automated Telemetry Station Installation in Upstream Forest

On 24 February 2020, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between Friends in Need(of “PA”) Volunteers Foundation, National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission, Department of National Park, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, Royal Forest Department, Department Of Provincial Administration, Department of Local Administration, Provincial Electricity Authority, and Hydro-Informatics Institute (Public Organization) on “The Automated Telemetry Station Installation for Weather and Water Level in Upstream Forest project” was organized at Meeting room in Srijulsup Building, Rama I Road.
This collaboration was signed in order to monitor weather information, precipitation, and water level in upstream forest. This installation was formed to monitor flash flood and soil erosion in the risk area.
Early Warning System (EWS) will be created by this system which will effectively reduce loss of life and property.
