HII has developed the Automated Telemetry System to record hydro-met data, e.g., temperature, air pressure, relative humidity, solar intensity, rainfall, water level, salinity, and etc. The system transmit data through cellular or satellite networks and visualize the information in the Internet GIS platform on www.thaiwater.net

Currently, HII’s 935 stations are deployed and operated countrywide to provide sufficient information for water situation analysis, management, planning, and effective disaster response. The system will also facilitate overall flash flood warning system of the country.
