Welcoming the FAO Director-General and delegates to HII: Showcasing Technologies and Visiting Community Water Resource Management Aligned with the Royal Initiatives.

Sunday, December 8, 2024, senior executives from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI), including Mr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Permanent Secretary; Prof. Dr. Sirirurg Songsivilai, Chairman of the Board of Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI); Mr. Vichai Assarasakorn, Chairman of the Board of the Hydro Informatics Institute (HII); and Dr. Royboon Rassameethes, Director of HII, welcomed Dr. Qu Dongyu, Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), along with 25 FAO delegates.

During the visit, HII showcased technologies for water forecasting, modeling, and management through the National Hydroinformatics Data Center (NHC). The delegation also visited the Ban Saladin Community in Nakhon Pathom Province to study Community Water Resource Management aligned with the royal initiatives and discussed future collaborations to promote HII’s success stories on an international scale.
